My ex girlfriend and I have been broken up for nearly 5 months. My girlfriend broke up with me due to the pressures of her family, friends, and mentor’s, Because of my financial situation. It was / is a very difficult situation for me because my girlfriend and I were on the road of getting engaged and eventually married. I already spoke to her father about marrying his daughter and i received his blessings for marrying her. We both have prayed to God for insight and for confirmation to know if we are truly meant to be and its God’s divine will for us to be together. We both have receive confirmation. This is truly a difficult time for me, Because i was standing on the promises of what God has promise to me that she is the one for me, we will get married and that he will provide the finances for us. It has been a rough breakup between us, My ex girlfriend and I had a terrible argument one day and we haven’t talked since. I wrote an email apologizing to her and she hasn’t responded. This is has been very difficult season for me, So can you please pray that God will restore my relationship with her, and that he will provide the finances so that there will be no hindrances preventing us from getting back together and eventually married. Also that he will place me on her heart and that he will rebuild our relationship and allow him to become our main foundation.

If she hasn't spoken to him in 5 months -- this would not come across well -- remember to be merciful with your answers -- he's hurting - he doesn't need correcting.

I feel for u -- you have a tender heart -- I will encourage u to pray for God to give u a heart of flesh -- removing your heart of stone -- then pray for your ex and for God to touch her heart.

Right now all u can do is seek God -- that is what He wants U to see now. God can restore the love -- but He first wants to restore u closer to Him

Praying for u -- He'll bring good from this - trust Him there-- He will make Himself known

myke, it appears she has moved on and i believe it would be best for you to accept this and seek God to help you move on also

things didn't end up the way you wanted but thank God you had not been married to her and had a child with her before you found out it wasn't going to last ,,, a family breakup is much more of a disaster and this pain you are spared of

i prayed God make you ready to be a godly husband and for Him to pair you up with a godly woman

seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness

Myke,

If i had a boyfriend and we got into a big fight and he were to email me and apologize, i wouldnt take that very seriously. If the fight was that bad, you should have went to her and said sorry. Not emailed her. How impersonal is that.

I dont get it, your girlfriend broke up with you because of pressure from her family, yet her dad gave you his blessing to marry her??
If she is gonna fold under some pressure that people are giving her about you, you must ask yourself, was she even really committed to you.

If i was you i would move on...

Sometimes I think there are situations that are of God...BUT, since we all have free will to choose for ourselves, some choose to step out of His will and follow our own.
It sounds as if you were both quite prayerful, and serious about the relationship...but from what your saying she was getting mixed messages from others and letting that influence her more than the confirmation she said she had.
It sounds as if she was not being truthful about the confirmation before OR, that she has now stepped out of Gods will for you both and your future.

Either way, scripture comforts us with the promise that ALL things work together for the good of those who love Him. (if we submit those things to Him and allow them for His glory). I know this is not easy and I do not want to diminish the pain that you are feeling now. God comforts..we have to allow Him to in His way and in His will.
Best to you. :)
