Sometimes I have found that the most difficult aspects of some situations is "living through the minutes"...Unfortunately, life doesn't come with a fast forward button...but God has a reason...Lord knows Isaiah 55:8,9 are beyond my comprehension...I trust...and I know you do...We have faith...but the pain, at times, can be intense & it makes the minutes expand....especially in the moments when the people closest to us cause us pain...that can be a true challenge as the pain is amplified...I continue to pray for you & yours...Remember, and I know you know, God wastes nothing...

I remember the first time I read Christ feeding the 5,000 & he instructs the disciples to gather the fragments...I was struck by the thought that "He just miraculously created all that food, why collect the fragments?"....over time, I have learned God wastes NOTHING...EVERYTHING is important...and tears, pain....precious in His eyes...I do not know why this situation exists Tash, but, what I do know is this...there is a reason & that reason will be apparent & will bring Him glory & you closer to Him & your loved ones...Keeping your faith & trust in the minutes is the challenge...know I & others here pray for you...Have a wonderful day...God Bless you & yours...Will
So true Will. Thank you for the encouraging words, and the insight. I never thought about why he asked them to collect the fragments after feeding the multitude but they way you just put it makes all the more sense.

God bless you!

Unfortunately Tash, I am THAT believer...When Christ heals the Synagogue official's daughter in Mark 5, Christ instructs the parents to "not to say a word about this & He said that something should be given to be given to her to eat" (Mark 5:43)...Again, the fool I am thinks...Ummm, you just raised her from the dead & you could not put something in her stomach?...Again, God applied His mighty 2x4 to my silly head....as I prayed about this, God through the Holy Spirit made it obvious to me...This is HOW GRACIOUS GOD TRULY IS....God wants us to participate in what He is doing! He brought this young girl back to life, but, He wanted those around Him - the ones who doubted His ability - to give her something to eat & watch her enjoy every morsel. Then there would be NO DOUBT that He truly is omnipotent - all powerful & GREAT in mercy...especially to this Jar of Clay....Courage Tash...its all falling into place...God Bless

God has truly blessed you with wisdom. Thank you!!! Such a beautiful interpretation taking the focus off the healing and moving it to a different plan God also executed for a reason...sometimes it is the little things that count most!

I will pray but, if Im alowed to say... If I were you, I would cheer up whenever that happens.

I know you´re not religious (1)
I know you´re not like they´re not (2)
I know you´re not missing a great thing being in the company of those who hurt or mpcked (3)

Just look at what they want you to take care or GIVE attention: What fruit does it bear?

Jesus said this: Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.

That mockery is coming from those you think trusting, evenly...

You are truly too kind Tash...If I have wisdom it has come from God...I could easily provide many examples that would show otherwise :D ....I pray James 1:5 & Proverbs 2 regularly...Our God is a generous giver of Gifts...In Hebrews 12:6 we learn God sometimes allows difficulties in our lives to deepen us, train us, & strengthen areas of weakness. It has been my experience that 'Brokenness' is God's requirement for maximum usefulness...He disciplines us because He loves us-because He wants us to experience life at its very best...therefore, I try to use a similar form of discipline in my Bible study...and for me wisdom appears to be a priority for God...so it is a priority for me....I wish you a blessed day & may God grace fall like rain upon you & yours....God Bless Will

I don't want to go into much detail, but basically I am being mocked for my passion to constantly read the word of God, and have fellowship with fellow believers, be it here on CC or at my church. Sarcastic jokes are made when I wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is read my bible, and hints are thrown my way about it, they hurt, but I try to take it as light hearted comments, rather than mockery. But as time goes by, these comments are followed by nit picking and sometimes provoking arguments over the simplest things... I feel my faith in God is being tested and right now I feel worn out.

Your prayers are appreciated.

Thank you
Tash, I agree with zaoman32. You're not weird for reading your bible everyday. If alot more people read their bibles everyday, this world would be a lot more peaceful place. People mock what they do not understand. Maybe they think your a little too avid to read the bible all the time. I would just ignore their comments and pray for them to gain the wisdom they need to pick up a bible and read it themselves!!! Maybe they dont get WHY you're so eager to read God's word. We all have our faith/ religion tested at one time or another. Just remember, Jesus was mocked for his religion too. If he could handle it with prayer and love, so can you. :)
