Prayer Request for Family's Baby

I have been praying so much for my good friend's family this year, they have been going through so much. They had a baby who was born with something called called AVSD or an atrioventricular septal defect, which is a heart defect that can be fatal from what I understand.

I've been going to church with them most of my life and they are the best people you could ever meet, super loving and generous and just sweet-hearted Christians. They are always doing food outreaches and giving their time and work to helping others, and it hurts so bad to see them going through such pain right now.

So please pray for the baby (who's named Hayden) and his family in this trying time.

Done! True Christians suffer . . . this is a Promise of our Father. I know that it seems so utterly backward, but our Bible makes this principle so clear. If we didn't suffer, we likely wouldn't rely upon and Trust God. The Holy Word Endure is for us . . . those who are suffering. Incredibly, God Loves those who are suffering, thus it seems important that we suffer in some kind of way, for this is our calling. Our God Loves the broken-hearted and if we will endure, we are Promised the most incredible of Eternal rewards. Therefore, we should worry not! Even should we die, this is to our gain (as Paul taught us).

And while I write the encouraging words that I have above, it is more often than not easier than it seems. For me . . . it's one day at a time. In fact, I thrust my Bible into my chest this afternoon as I lay down in utter grief and stress; wondering what in the world I am going to do. I just keep telling myself that God has a Plan and that it is always greater than mine. And since I pray that His Will would be done, I can only assume that He honors it.

I even pray that you, Becky, would suffer less. These situations affect many down the chain of friendship and family.
