Hi everyone!

My wife is pregnant and today we got to know that she has gestational diabetes. Now she is very sad and depressed. The due date is in April, so it means there's still almost 3 months pregnancy time left. Before this she has had plenty of different uncomfortable things because of her pregnancy... She feels this is already too much.

Please pray for her that she could see the light in the middle of this suffering!

Kartza, my friend had this with both of her children, and with her first one she was put on complete bed rest at 5 months. If your wife listens to what her Doctors tell her and takes care of herself she will be fine and so will the baby. My friend has 2 very healthy little ones, and she had to go on insulin while she was in her last 3 months with both. As soon as the baby was born the Diabetes was gone completely. Hope that encourages your wife. She needs to be happy and enjoy this time she has, soon she will have this little one in her arms happy and healthy.
I will keep her in my prayers.
God Bless.

I had this several times when I was pregnant. For one child I had to be on bed rest for months. Please tell your wife to do wha the doctors tell her and her and baby should be fine. I know its hard, and very, very scary, but trust in God. I did, and I have John, Luke, & Matthew to show for it.

Plus I had nice BIG babies because of the sugar. John was 9'4" and I am not that big. So tell her we are praying for her and that God is watching over her.

Ok, now I would like to share some information with you about my wife's situation...

After the gestational diabetes diagnosis she got advices from the doctor to avoid sugar and the white pasta and white rice. And also several other suggestions for her new diet.

In the beginning she had to measure her sugar levels 4 times in one day. Sugar levels were ok, only once it was too high. Last week the doctor said there's no need to measure sugar levels every day anymore, only once in a week is enough. Since the last week every time she measured the sugar level, those has been in a good level. She even tried to eat white pasta one day, and in spite of that the sugar levels were ok!

So it seems she doesn't has to use insulin! :) Everything is fine right now with her.

I want to thank you all who prayed for her!

Hello, i just want to let you know, that we got a beautiful baby girl a couple of weeks ago! :) Everything went fine, baby decided to come out 2 weeks before the due date. So she's very small! She's healthy, eating and sleeping most of the time, just like new born babies usually do! :)

Thanks to you all who prayed for us! We are so happy now! :)
