I feel every word, boy has this week been rough on the psyche of my mind. Like stumbling through the dark trying to find the exit. Pull me from the lowest pits of the mind, shine your light so I can see, help me rest in your heart. I know your Word but here in this place help me feel your Word. The enemy will not sleep but fights day and night. I have been here before, this season comes and goes. You Oh God have never left me or forsaken me. As always the storm is violent but you eventually will calm it. The enemy will eventually fall into their own snares intended for me. The light eventually breaks through the rain so that this vessel of yours may find refuge. Free me from the internal cage of the mind. You are the God who sets the prisoner free and the tears of sorrow will be turned to joy. When I am tired, I know I can rest in you. When I am weak, you make me strong. When on sinking sand, You place me on solid land. A hurricane of the mind and a whirlwind in the heart, speak into each and calm the storm within. May your peace come and conquer the things of this world. Let this long gasp for air meet your breath of life, that revives what may feel dead on the inside. Resurrect me, raise me from death and into life. You are the Great I Am! The fortress for my soul. The hope and joy for life. Thank you God for never leaving me in the dark, in the storm, or surrounded by the enemy. You are my victory even when I may not yet see end of the tunnel. Amen!
