As a college student, I was the president of my schools missions team. The pastor/chaplain is a young (in the Lord) leader who was raised up only about 4 or 5 years after finding Jesus. He has a powerful testimony of being healed from paranoid schizophrenia after he list his job at the top of capitol records, blew $100,000 on drugs, and his wife divorced him.
Over the years I've been involved with the group in many capacities. I've also withdrawn from it because of his treatment of team members and myself. He is very controlling and manipulative. He calls people out in public places amongst crowds of people. He humiliates people. Several years ago he announced in a crowded room that in had no purpose in participating in that days ministry other than to criticize. All this
Was brought on because I curiously asked a
question that he didn't like. A while later he told my friend after she'd just come to the Lord, to "get over it". This because she was grieving the lose of her brother and protector to a drive by shooting. He says something like this just about everytime he gets the floor.
The problem is that he runs a group of new Christians who he knows will not out him. He already lost his
First group because of his treatment if them. Now he has a new
Group and half of them are convinced he's
In a relationship with his assistant who us half his age and very naive. He's
Been called on it before. His new students are now
Also ready to leave.
Anyway, my pastor really needs to do something. Please pray that he
needs to make a wise decision.
