the pharmaceutical industry will not make any money from NATURAL VITAMIN D3 it is why they modify nature's natural molecule so they can charge a fortune for it, Natural is always best in my opinion. it does not mean an analog molecule does not work but, try natural first. it is also why MD's do not prescribe naturals most of the time....Prevention is the best way but todays MD do not do prevention or barely

@Poinsetta I'll work on that and get back to you later, I DO want to point out to anyone that reads my post that the petroleum D3 "cream" (calcipotriene) that I put forward would make your hair quite greasy and (at least with hydrocortisone) there are considerations to treating large areas but it is more of a lotion than a gel.

There's another treatment you can ask your doc about and while my Mom cleared hers out and it hasn't returned in years with it, I'm leery of it, I did a tiny bit of looking into it to see why and the side effects are fairly concerning although she didn't get any. I'll put it in a PM along with some articles hopefully tonight sometime.

My granddaughter suffered from psoriasis for several years, and no treatment worked long term. Her parents finally found a long term solution. They took her to the beach for an hour or so in the sun and salt water almost every day for more than a year. It cleared up, and hasn't returned since. It's been over ten years. She still makes frequent trips to the beach.

I was thinking about her and the problems she had with school. She even had a school nurse send her home every time they had a lice? outbreak. In spite of the way she was treated by teachers and peers, thanks to the support that she received from her father and her church youth group she has become a fine and energetic young woman. This is true. Psoriasis is often treated/cured/eased with sunlight. For white-skinned people, this might be 30 minutes or so per day. For darker-skinned people, maybe a little more. For those who don't/can't get enough sunlight, there are artificial red lights and similar people can self treat themselves with, but sunlight is God-made and therefore the best.

This makes sense. She is very light skinned. The times she spends at the beach are usually a couple of hours before sundown. I am convinced that the sea water also had a big hand in the cure and continues to help her keep it at bay. Sad thing is not everyone has access to clean beach water year round.

yeah apparently (thankgod) the shampoo i only had to use it twice so it seems to work so far i feel much better
