thanks you guys its nice to read a thread about RESPECT and living as Jesus taught us. its an important thing to remember and I have a hard time with it too some days.... as I was reading in another thread you just want to smack them or something but through the grace of the Holy Spirit we take a few steps back and do as God tells us to do, turn the other cheeck and bless those who curse us.

I'm still working on letting God make my heart be as kind and loving as God wants us to be. May we all remember God's love for us.

Cairn: Thank you so much for your post!! It definitely gave me a lot to think about. I've never really looked at the idea that my actions or words could potentially affect what someone feels about the Lord. I really need to take that as a push to focus on how I treat others. You're right. There's no way I would want to be the one that stops someone's walk with the Lord. I'm also going to try to focus on the good parts of being a fighter and the bad, like you advised. :)
AmandaHya: Thanks for replying. Respect has always been a big issue with me. I just need to start focusing on being a Christian about it, instead of the way I used to be. You're right. There are the times where we really want to hit someone and we have to find a way not to. I'll be praying for you!! :D
