Father, I lift this dear saint up to you. Lord, shed your perfect light over him, and flood him with revelation knowledge. He has everything he needs in you!!! I ask y ou Lord to pour out favour beyond belief and that this young man sees you for who you really are - and that he does not need to struggle with this thing any longer. I declare peace, freedom, and liberty (with lots of joy abounding!!!)
His hearts desire has been spoken, that he be free, and that he become the Godly man that he (and you) desires. Thank you Lord that your work is perfect in him, that you love him beyond any ability to measure, and that he may rest in that knowledge. Let his true idently raise up!!
Amen.
Blessings!!

You are not alone my friend... just about everyone struggles with at least one really tough sin in their lives. The good news is that God wants to heal you AND that you have already pleased Him beause you want to be healed for Him! The key to your healing, is that you CAN NOT do it on your own... you need God and you need strong christian friends (mainly other guys). Look up Celebrate Recovery programs at churches in your city. CR is a Christ-centered program where you make great friends and find safe and confidential help and support. l will be praying for you.

Hello,

As many have stated we all struggle with sin, every single one of us; different sins but sins nonetheless. Whenever I seem to be in a losing battle with certain sins, I go one of my favorite Paul scriptures in 1 Corinthians 7: 7-10

7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

as you can see Paul had a struggles we do not know what this is we can assume that it must have greatly affected Paul's life perhaps a temptation to sin? I imagine it might have been Paul was human just like the rest of us. Things I notice from these scriptures, He was given a thorn on his flesh not by God, but God must have of course allowed it to happen. What I love though is that God says to him that his grace is sufficient that God is enough to still have that temptation and no fall to it to overcome it through Christ! I love that "my power is made perfect in weakness". When we learn to rely on God's power instead of our own we will take that leap of faith and be strengthened by Him.

So, Meinhardt or anyone else that may be struggling with certain sins as I am, take this scripture and be at ease trust in the Lord and in your weakness let him be your strength! While you may no longer commit the sin as you progress further down the road in your walk with Christ, the temptations may still be there so let God be your strength and you will most certainly overcome them and remain strong in Christ!

Take Care & God Bless
