The loss of my friend

Tessa, a good friend of mine from back in high school, went on vacation with her family in Oklahoma a week ago. Her family decided to go swimming in a lake one afternoon and as a storm approached a couple hours later...a current in the lake dragged her underneath 26 feet of water and she never resurfaced.
She had just graduated high school and was excited about all the possibilities that life offered her.
She left behind Noah, her four year old son, whom she loved dearly. Because of the circumstances, Noah's father will be given full custody.
Please keep her family and friends in your prayers as we all go through this difficult time of loss.

Sorry for your friend. Will be praying for you. Or don't you know that all of us were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? I'm really sorry to hear that. That is really sad. Esp. when someone dies at such a young age. But I know that God is there for you and her family. He will help you in this hard time.

Yes, I'm quite concerned about his ability to raise his son. It's definitely going to be a struggle for him in every regard. I was hoping that the courts would give the custody that Tessa had over to her parents. Unfortunately that was not the case and the judge ruled in favor of giving full custody over to the father. :/

Father lift up Tessa's family, her son Noah, all who loved this young woman. Provide the strength, the peace and the comfort as only you can.
