Hi guys,
I haven't been here for ages. Those of you who know me, remember I was moving across the country. Well just a little update and prayer request.
The move went fine, we got here fine along with all of our furniture and whatnot. It has taken some time to sort out all the paperwork with the Government here for my husbands payments, but now that is sorted too. After one month we FINALLY have the internet again. All in all things are going well, we managed to get a tenant for our house and we've found somewhere here too, HOWEVER, just 2 nights ago the house we're renting here got broken into. Some precious items were stolen, and the house was TRASHED! (I mean literally, EVERY drawer was emptied, every box opened. They even took all the eggs from the fridge and threw them all over the walls)
We're over the initial shock/trauma of it all and are slowly picking up the pieces, but if I could ask you all to remember us in prayer. We now have a massive headache of an insurance claim to make, and we've decided to move (we were considering it anyway, but the break-in just confirmed the decision), so we've made application to rent another place.
If you could just pray for us with regards to the the new house (pray that if it's Gods will we will be successful in our application), and pray that our insurance claim goes smoothly and we recoop all our losses, and please pray for peace, oh and for a job interview I have coming up. So I guess, just pray that in general things get sorted and we can FINALLY get settled.
If you could do that it would be wonderful. Thanks to you all. It's so great to be back, I look forward to the fellowship.
