Mt. 21:21 "... Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thouu removed,,, it shal be done."

You must keep believing.

Ps. 34:39 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all."

Pro.11:8 "The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead."

Just a few scriptures along with my prayers.

Remember that no one is good:

[17] And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him, and asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
[18] And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone." Mark 10:17-18 RSV

The bible also tells is us in the world we will have tribulation but be of good cheer He has overcome the world. We live in a fallen world , things happen, its just life, not everyone can handle prosperity it would make many trust in their wealth and not God .Yes it is Gods desire for all of these wonderful things to take place in our life but unfortunately it wont happen until....its all over and He comes back..imo

The sufferings of Christians referred to in the scriptures, by Christ and also by Paul, are not referring to financial lack, sickness, tragedies, or untimely deaths. I encourage you not to fall into the religious mindset developed by the false teachings that these things are somehow useful to God, or perhaps His will for some people's lives. Your statement is correct ' His will is for us to prosper and have good health'.

These philosophies are developed by individuals who conclude logically, that because they or others, were unsuccesful in escaping certain types of circumstances, then the bible is reinterpreted to fit their situation or is interpreted as being God's will for their life.

Look at the differences between scripture/ and assumptions, based on his intellectual conclusions and reasoning.

Scripture verse:

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you would prosper and be in health...

False doctrine teaches:

Sometimes it's God's will for you to be sick. God may have a purpose in it for you. Extreme wealth is sinful.

Scripture teaches:

Psalm 91:10 No evil shall befall you, and no disaster will come near your house...

Psalm 91:11 He will give his angels authority over you, lest you dash your foot against a stone...

Psalm 91:16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation...

False doctrine teaches:

Even as a christian, 'tomorrow is not promised', you could die at any moment or a tragedy could remove your life from the earth any minute.

There are many more, but I really want to address your question by saying, 'you are exactly correct', it is God's will for us to prosper in every area of our lives and there are many scriptures which support sound doctrine such as this.

I encourage you not to interpret the world based on the unfortunate experiences of others or any unfortunate circumstances you may have experienced. We are not to interpret the bible based on our experiences, but we are to interpret our circumstances and experiences only after knowing the Word of God.

Whether tragedies or hardship is the result of sin, doubt and unbelief, or is completely unexplainable, we know that sickness, lack and adversity, (apart from persecution), now occurs, because satan is the prince of this world and worms his way into the lives and situations of many people, but don't be deceived by mistakenly attributing these things to God. God's word is absolute truth.

John 10:10 ...the thief, (satan), is the one who steals, kills and destroys...
