Hi all,
I have a prayer request pertaining to relationships in my life with friends and family.
I have realised that if one doesn't set healthy boundaries one is in for a rough time.
Boundaries are a related to self control and self control is a fruit if the Holy Spirit.
Please could ppl pray that I grow in both self control and boundaries (loving assertiveness)

Much appreciated.

I am praying for you. I just got done with a book study in my small group at church. The book was Boundaries, by Dr. Henry Cloud, and Dr John Townsend. This book will be a great help to you and there is many others by the same men that are wonderful as well. Boundaries are not always easy to enforce, especially with family members. I agree with you that everyone needs them. May God keep your heart open, and your life full of healthy boundaries so you may grow in your faith and serve Him.
