Sure, for the final part of the vision, we see one of the more well-known verses of Zechariah talking about the Branch. When we parallel this verse to Isaiah 11:1 and Jeremiah 23:5, this Branch clearly appears to be Christ. I think the stone is another example of Christ as the Rock (ex. 1 Corinthians 10:4), and the seven eyes here are the same seven eyes that are on the Lamb in Revelation 5:6.

These eyes in Revelation are identified as the seven Spirits of God. Although, I don’t know exactly what the seven Spirits of God are. I made a personal note to do a topical study on that. I’m not sure what the engraving could be, my lecturer didn't seem to know either, he said it could have to do with the engravings on the breastplate and shoulders of the High Priest, but I'm not sure about that.

My conjecture which differs from my lecturer is that the engraving is the new name that’s mentioned a few times in Revelation (i.e. Revelation 3:12), but I am not set on that view. But continuing, we see that God promises to remove the iniquity in one day (Christ's Sacrifice), and gives the ability for any man to be saved and be among His people.

In Isaiah 11:1 and Jeremiah 23:5, the Branch is mentioned as “Branch”, but here it’s mentioned as “BRANCH”. Also, the determiner “the” is placed before it, whereas in Isaiah and Jeremiah it’s the determiner “a”. It seems more definite here than those other two places.

As a final note of interest, the vine and the fig tree are common symbols for Israel. Micah 4:4 is a brief example that shows a very similar message we see here.

My apologies for the abrupt message. I thought that was an interesting detail.

Oh no that's completely fine, I'm very interested in hearing observations like that. My lecturer said there's been some debate that the word "Branch" being used in each spot is a different Hebrew word for Branch, yet it's still referring to Jesus the Messiah, hence the differing grammar.

Oh, okay.

That was the conclusion of my summary, so what do you think? I don't want to keep you for too long if you need to leave for work.

I don’t work today, so there’s no rush. Most of your points seem congruent with the writing, and your references to other pieces of the Bible help develop a firm structure to some of your claims (with your other points being evident). I don’t really have that many more observations or questions to say.

I feel like there’s issues with the flow and the privacy of our conversation, so I have an idea.

Oh, okay. I appreciate your thoughts, I always try to support my views with reasonable verse citations at all times. The Bible is truthfully consistent, and I don't believe it should be treated as something to make up interpretations for. If you disagree with anything or have a different view, please do not hesitate to let me know. I want to learn, and not be confined within my flawed way of thinking.

Sorry about that, your last post appeared on my end delayed. What's your idea?
C

Yes, providing constructive criticism surely helps. I’ll try to do that more.

I have to ask a question first before I unveil my idea: do you have an operating phone?
Puresong

Yes, although my cell service is poor.

Okay, so here’s the idea. I can exhibit my phone number for about a minute. After it’s appeared, you can send a message to my phone indicating that it’s you. Are you comfortable with that?

I'm not sure, I only shared my number once with someone I knew solely online, and it was after I knew them for months. You don't show any signs of someone with bad intentions, it's just something I'm not very used to.
C

Never mind, then. I can respect your precautions.

Thank you, it's kind of you not to be offended, once I feel more comfortable I think I'll share. I have a different idea, maybe I can do the same thing you were going to do, but with email?
