It's lots of variations on Tetris, yes. Different games require you to line up objects in different ways, but it's basically colorful Tetris from a different direction.

Multiple people in this thread need some hobbies. Badly.

Candy crush, bubble bobble... Dr Mario... A lot of small round objects of different colors, and you have to manipulate them to line up objects of the same color in a row. Then the row disappears and more small round objects drop down from above.
