Thank you. I did not really grow as a Christian fasting, and tho i've always been a moderate eater, not been practicing fasting for a long time. That's why when i realized how good it is... wish more people prayerfully consider doing it, as you said our Lord did.

Hi Blain, I think some pray w/ more words thn others at times, w/ more tears or sobs sometimes.. Some are more aggressive repelling enemies, while some are more like medics or cooks behind the scenes. Long or short, its our heart God sees.. (wish cud type more, but not today)..

Earlier this year, the Lord graciously allowed me to fast and pray for longer than i thought i could:). Fasting is not a popular topic, nor activity among Christians, if i may say so. It really seems more fun to talk, sing, play, study, serve, even work our jobs.. but the point is we can fast...

Is that so... i never thought they'd look any other way. We grew up near a university, altho not an urban setting, has many people coming and going. We sometimes had opportunity to vacation w/ grandparents in the city, other relatives in a rural province, but not really with very wide, open...

Hi jam! It sure was brave of u to tell ur teacher he's a sinner. But not many people can take it that easily, and so u may have to consider trying to reach him again another way. One, u can pray for him, that he softens his heart to the Lord and begin to ask to understand himself better...
