What Are Some of the Strangest Things You've Misplaced/Places Where You Accidentally Put Them?

I have pretty much shut down the shop due to health reasons. I mostly made smaller craft items, like trinket boxes, a few adirondack chairs, picture frames, handmade pens and some other lathe work. I really like vintage tools. My table saw is 90 years old and still passes the dime test. It's...

    Hurricane Milton

Things are back to normal in the north east except for some minor damage at the beaches. From what I have gleaned from local news it's a mess mid state south. Actual count on tornadoes was 48 with at least one an ef3. 17 people died in that one. St Agustine about 30 miles south of me took a...

    Hurricane Milton

The numbers of tornadoes surprised even the in state weather pros. There were about 125 warnings but I still haven't seen a report on how many actually tornadoes touched down. Waterspouts on the other hand are not all that uncommon.

    Hurricane Milton

Yep, we are in North east Florida - Jacksonville. We came through virtually untouched. Just 1 - 2 inches of rain and a few stroing wind gusts. Just a few miles with these storms make a very big difference in how hard one gets hit. At St. Augustine just 25 miles south had much more rain and very...

    Hurricane Milton

This storm is forecasted to enter the Atlantic still as a hurricane - winds at 75mph+ so I hope your friend is right. Recent reports show an eye movement to the south somewhat. Looks like Tampa Bay will not get the hit from the eye which is good for them but not so much for those south of the...

    Hurricane Milton

Hopefully they are just caught in the mass exodus on one of the interstates. The emergency lanes on one side have been opened for thru traffic but it's still moving at a crawl. Praying for them

    Hurricane Milton

This storm is currently a cat5 with 180 mph winds. Haven't seen one like this since Katrina. It's gonna hit somewhere around Tampa bay. If it hits south of the bay there will be less of a storm surge because of wind direction and locaton of the bay itself. If it hits north of the bay flooding...

    Hurricane Milton

We here is Florida are about to take another hurricane hit. Looks like the eye will hit around Tampa Bay, Please pray that the eye hits south of Tampa bay itself, This will lessen the amount of water being pushed by the wind into the bay which will lessen flooding in that metro area. Evacuations...
