    It seems there is a big part God does . Perhaps in leading one to repentance and giving the grace and ability to believe and receive the gospel. Ever breath of life comes from God so it would also appear that there is a grace given for people to turn to God.

    Yes God does see everything. However I was speaking of the rich man. I don’t see anywhere in the story that the rich man was looking at God.

    If God is the only one who sees the heart, then could that mean oneself may not accurately judge their own motives at times? For example thinking it is a motive of love but being self-deceived?
