Paul saw the ten commandments as part of the "ministry of death."

You're right, Paul is certainly referencing the ten commandments in 2 Corinthians. I would also posit that it is shorthand for all of God's Law. Paul mentions in the latter part of the chapter about "Moses being read" in connection with the covenant. Also, in Joshua 8:31-35, Joshua builds an...

Can we use microwave on Sabbath day??

No, I am not claiming the ten commandments are a different covenant than the rest of the law. Initially, you quoted Deuteronomy 4:13 and asked if we're still under the old covenant. Are you asking if we're still obligated to obey the ten commandments? If so, what is your view?

I am curious...

Can we use microwave on Sabbath day??

You're right, our Savior while on earth followed the Torah perfectly. As I stated, I am a Gentile disciple of Jesus. I stated that obeying the Sabbath commandment is an act of discipleship. It is not the only act of discipleship, but one of many that a believer can engage in. I do want to...

Can we use microwave on Sabbath day??

Despite the comments from some people here seasoned with sarcasm or commandment cancelling/transformation, I would like to respond to you as a believer who celebrates the Biblical seventh day Sabbath/Shabbat. Ultimately, it will come down to conviction in the matter. In Jewish communities...
