I was impressed by Stallone's acting in Oscar. I'll have to check these out, especially Mr. Godfrey. I have a fondness for '30 movies. One of my favorite movies of any decade is Freaks (1932). Many people these days skip over the '30s, but there are some gems in that era.

Dealing with the stress and sadness of having someone very close to you in the hospital is very trying. Deep grief is also very trying. When a person is very close to you, these are painful times like no other. Praying for strength, guidance, and comfort!

My bestie and I get together once a month for a gal's day out. We always go to a local steakhouse, but they were closed for maintenance. So we tried a hole in the wall place. We got this meal for only 6.75! That's incredible these days.

I feel ya'. The passing of my father has caused this to be the roughest season of my life. I'm so thankful we have the Lord. May the days ahead get brighter and may the seasons ahead be less heavy!
