That was a great deal! I've found it to be very therapeutic. I taught myself when I was a teenager using Crochet magazines I had gotten at a resale shop. Later, I expanded my skills by learning from youtube videos. I've crocheted lots of hats, blankets, a few purses, and various other things...

I used to crochet often. One time, I asked my bf if I could crochet him a sweater. He said, "No!" lol Just no fun at all :LOL:

In 2017, I started traveling to/spending time in Georgia a lot. I had heard it gets hot there, but after visiting at all times of the year over the past few years, I found out that it doesn't get as hot as Oklahoma nor does it get as cold as Oklahoma. Actually, I find the weather quite pleasant...

Yes, pot roast is smashing in the crock pot! For some reason I haven't done beef stew in the crock pot, but need to do that soon.

We always reach 100+ at some point and it'll stay there a while. I'll enjoy this while it lasts :LOL:

Using the crock pot is my favorite way make rotisserie chicken at home.

It also looks like more yardwork this year.

It's 86 atm. It shows that it reached 91 here today. I am glad I went for my walk this morning while it was still somewhat cool.

It got a little too cool inside, had to turn mine off lol

I figured you must not be too far from me. It supposed to be 90s here tomorrow also :cool: It was in the 80s today and I had the a/c on long enough to cool things down a bit.
