dwindle (Your mention of Honey, I Shrunk the Whangdoodles reminds me of when we mentioned Disney movies. If I recall, I said that I don't really care for Disney movies. Well, I'd forgotten that Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a Disney movie. I must admit, I like this movie! I even have the movie. I...

    the health gospel..?

I'm just responding with my own experience here as a lifelong Okie with deep Okie roots. I even grew up on the Osage Reservation...near burial grounds! Lots of rich culture and history here. I embrace it. I've never felt a heavy feeling. Even if there was a heavy feeling, I'll still stay here...

    the health gospel..?

I am Seneca. So, I don't know what this talk of influence by ancient Native Americans is? Not all Native Americans were/are the same. Some tribes were warring tribes, some were peaceful and religious, etc. None were savages. The government moved the Seneca and other great tribes here. Even so...

    the health gospel..?

Both sides of my family have been in Oklahoma a long time and both sides have worked in some capacity in the oil industry. Very red state and a lot of good qualities, but the weather is terrible. We are a Second Amendment Sanctuary State....I'll stay here for that reason alone.

    the health gospel..?

I am an Okie and have never bought into Copeland or any of the other similar preachers. I don't know anyone else here who has either. Crude oil keeps a lot of people employed here.

    Just Give It Up!

I think I would probably have to give up imitating singers, because I have no doubt that it would be found to be quite annoying. If I'm feelin' it, I'll imitate Axl Rose singing Sweet Child O' Mine. I like imitating other singers, I especially think it's fun to try to reach their vocal ranges. I...

reduced (After complete defeat of the Whangdoodles, we will have an annual celebration of the eradication of them! Yet, their name will in no way be reduced! Concerning your lab coat, all the best to you in getting that back  I agree with you about Atlantis. I had already believed in the...

    What are your relationship dealbreakers?

I used that lyric since it went along with the decade of music that me and zeroturbulence were talking about. Seger did that song over a decade before 90s alternative rock and at one time alternative was all I listened to. These days I listen to whatever I'm in the mood for, which is almost...

    What are your relationship dealbreakers?

I will choose what I listen to, thank you. And I'll be listening to Chicago (and any other music I choose) until I am physically incapable.

    What are your relationship dealbreakers?

It was certainly a great decade for rock music. One of my favorite songs of any genre/decade is Chicago's Make Me Smile. But there are so many great songs from the 70s. Call me a relic, call me what you will. Today's music ain't got the same soul.

    What are your relationship dealbreakers?

Yes! I am glad you pointed out the important part of my story. It's a very miserable relationship when the other person doesn't make time for your interests. It's very inconsiderate and you feel like you aren't allowed to be yourself. It makes no sense to me to be miserable in a relationship...

    What are your relationship dealbreakers?

My best relationship was with someone who liked classic rock. I was perfectly fine with that. His favorite bands weren't necessarily my favorite bands and vice versa, but we were content and had a good, healthy balance of give and take (in all areas)...and neither of us had to keep earbuds in...

Who wants to wear earbuds all the time? I know I don't.

    What are your relationship dealbreakers?

I understand what you mean. I was in a brief relationship with a guy who liked Katy Perry and music similar to Katy Perry. I just couldn't stand it. We had a lot of other differences, but the big problem was that he didn't want to ever play my music or do things I was interested in. It was...

Q: What's the most valuable lesson you've learned from a failed relationship? A: Never date a tennis player. Love means nothing to them.

    ~Chuckle for the Day~

I realize Red Green is geared toward men, but it's one of my favorite shows. I've seen every episode
