The Pope Condones Same Sex Marriage

The pope is an idiot who hurts many people. He basically condoned rape indirectly with this. Why on earth was he speaking about something earthly, godless, and outside his domain, let alone condemned by God to death? I think he proved his illegitimacy with this and oughta get lynched already...

    Laundry Mat

Haha. I gave up on separating the whites long ago by not buying white clothes and/or mixing them anyways. I leave true mastery of laundry to women. That’s what girlfriends are for, thanks be to God.

    Lets laugh together!

I was the unofficial DJ at my software consulting company in Chicago back in the day. I knew how to pick tunes that matched the least common denominator so that nobody complained. In the off chance someone did complain, I banned a song/tune from the list forever. Jazz music and jazzy rock seemed...

Isaiah 9:17 (NET) So the Lord was not pleased[a] with their young men, he took no pity[b] on their orphans and widows; for the whole nation was godless[c] and did wicked things,[d] every mouth was speaking disgraceful words.[e] Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready...

    So uh....food pics?

I think you’re missing the point of this thread. It is not a general food thread (there are many of those elsewhere). The OP requested that women post food to get to men‘s hearts through their stomach. Godspeed.

    Maybe new ...Maybe not

Welcome Michiganite. I've lived nearby in Chicago for over a decade. Been all around Michigan too, gave presentations relating to my field of software engineering in Calvin University / Grand Rapids, and had some snowboarding friends from Kalamazoo who swore by Upper Peninsula skiing. Godspeed.

    Which Bible to purchase?

My recommendation is to just read NET instead for a neutral modern translation or WEB if you want something closer to the literal Bible manuscripts. I like to read KJV every once in a while too, but NET and WEB are definitely my goto Bible modern translations.

Is it a sin to drink alcohol

I don't know. I am a responsible adult and I shared my honest opinion. Take it or leave it. I'm not gonna stop enjoying alcohol just because other people can't enjoy it (in fact, I'm enjoying some wine right now). Besides, if you don't agree with me, then just "react" to my reply by downvoting...

Isaiah 9:4 (NET) For their oppressive yoke and the club that strikes their shoulders, the cudgel the oppressor uses on them,[l] you have shattered, as in the day of Midian’s defeat.

Is it a sin to drink alcohol

You can't overthink it though. That's no fun. Then again, I must be blessed by God not to be affected by alcohol easily. I never get why people worry so much about alcohol. It is a lot more good than bad in my experience, and always under control. Then again, I'm blessed by the ability to notice...
