I have watched politics for a long time I'm old remember....both sides have talked about cutting entitlement programs. Both sides have spent the SS money in the wrong way which is why it's running out of money. Both are guilty and I don't like it.

To clarify just a tad if I hear a Dem talking about cutting entitlement program I am not happy either. Like I said I am old leave the SS alone no matter the political party.

You hit the nail on the head here Lynx this is me in a nutshell the new Repubs chased me to the Dems because I still wanted to vote in primaries and you don't really get to as an Independent.

It's a waste of time and money in my opinion.

It kinda otta be the other way around because you need the programs when you get old - over 30 and the dems seem to want to help people more than the repubs.
