I’m not saying a person who lives such a lifestyle could not give their life to Christ. I’m not implying that’s what you’re saying either. Bottom line, if such a person gave their life to Christ at one time, God’s gift of grace is irrevocable.
Apparently you missed the word lifestyle. That said however, God’s gift of grace is irrevocable. My question is whether someone who lives such a lifestyle could actually have at one time truly given their life to Christ.
I’ve often wondered about the typical mafia hit man who is so adherent to faith in God and yet murders people upon orders from within the mafia. Where does such a man stand with God? Can someone who lives that lifestyle truly have faith in God?
I’m getting tripped up at, “those who think you must choose to believe”. When I heard about Jesus for the first time my heart burst open with joy. The belief was instantaneous.
What you fail to recognize and embrace is that your being a contestant in the first place means it doesn’t matter if you dropped out or not, you’re still deemed a contestant.
I would respect them if they did in fact state those very words, because you’re right, that is exactly how they feel but they deliberately refuse to say so.
