    Calvinism vs. Arminianism?

It doesn’t necessarily have to be addressed to you of course, anybody can reply as far as I’m concerned that’s the beauty of it all. Sure one can repent and come to Christ; but the moment we think that I repented and I came to Christ on my own will would be going down the wrong path in that they...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism?

It can be both ambiguous because you have God talking about the wages of sin is death and we know it has nothing to do with physical death. Then likewise the word save is also related to that of Romans where again God says if you confess with your mouth you will be saved. But I personally...

If you would re-read what I posted it say's nothing of the sort that you are disguising; It is the church itself that is disguising.

Is eternal torment in hell fire Biblical

You like to use the phrase "to end the age" and if this phrase means as what it stands for then, there is no further time. I might add also that according to your doctrinal belief the true believers leave this present day earth and then return again ? If not then who is the kingdom and to what...

Is eternal torment in hell fire Biblical

Exegesis, so we want to use these big fancy theological words. He is word for you it is called perspicuous and lets see how that works out with that of exegesis. So if we look at the idea that Christ is coming down to set up a "millennial kingdom" and he is going to have to the true believers...

Is eternal torment in hell fire Biblical

You are correct in that those that live and reign with Christ is forever and ever that is to say it has no ending. Now with that being said then it would have to mean that the thousand yrs that is in view with the true believers reigning and living with Christ as stated in Rev. 20:4&6 would have...

So with that in mind how does the "rapture"...

Is eternal torment in hell fire Biblical

Of Course there were people saved in the O.T. look at Abraham who was a gentile he was saved, we also have 7 thousand who did not bow down to Baal. [Rom.11:4] Satan is not currently bound we know that because the Bible says he goes about as a roaring lion to devour. [1Pt. 5:8] If he was bound...

Is eternal torment in hell fire Biblical

The gospel is there just not forth outright. For example the Binding of Satan coincides with that of Pentecost, because before that time virtually no one became saved and then peter preached and about 3 thousand became saved. In Rev. 20 we have those that reign with Christ the true believers and...

Why so much confusion about salvation?

Now correct me here if I’m wrong but your church believes that faith is an instrument. Also I imagine they look at water baptism as death, burial and resurrection of Christ. In others words in with old and out with the new.

    OSAS= House Built on Sand

That is a pretty big statement considering you nor I cannot see his heart and what it yearns for or doesn't yearn for. Just because one does not believe in the doctrines of the reformed church does not mean he or she cannot be saved, that my friend would be a false statement.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism?

Exactly, they both start out the same but then where the big difference is that they come forth outright and say you have to do something; while the reformers do not come forth outright but very discreetly and cleverly disguised say you have to do something.
