About Matt. 10:34 Do you see Jesus causing the division today?

Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn “ ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’...

    A question about giving

You see some mega church pastors with mansions, jets, limos......will GOD reward people for giving to a pastor who is clearly corrupt? I wonder if people give money to them, thinking GOD is blessing the pastor and maybe GOD will bless them too for giving money to a corrupt pastor?

    Praying can be frustrating.

You watch as people get prayers answered in days, weeks, months.....while you pray and seek GOD for decades, with no end in sight. It's sad GOD does not give you a timeline for the answer. It would really help.

when you see crazy things politicians do remember Job 12:24-25

He deprives the leaders of the earth of their reason; he makes them wander in a trackless waste. They grope in darkness with no light; he makes them stagger like drunkards. Job 12:24-25

I find deuteronomy 22:28 very interesting.

deuteronomy 22:28 "“Suppose a man has intercourse with a young woman who is a virgin but is not engaged to be married. If they are discovered," Interesting this sin is not covered in the list of sexual sins given the death penalty. In this verse it is consensual sex, not rape. There is no sin...

Matthew 25:42 and how you vote

For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’ “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever...

Why I post about Christians and dating.

I post alot about the church and dating. It's hard enough dating, and the church makes it even harder. They put impossible restrictions on Christian singles when it comes to dating or even sex. I hate to see scriptures taken out of contexts and applied to singles. Showing affection is NOT a sin...

Stop using 2 Timothy 2:22 to tell single Christians about sex.

2 Timothy 2:22 has nothing to do with sex. "Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." 2 Timothy 2:22 Read verse 23 for context. "Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments...

Stop all the rules about Christian dating. 1 Corinthians 7:25

Now regarding your question about the young women who are not yet married. I do not have a command from the Lord for them. 1 Corinthians 7:25. There are no rules for Christian dating. About the only guide lines was no sex before marriage, and we fail at that. I guess GOD's rule was not high...

Has anyone heard of the idea of a "true kiss" when it comes to Christian dating?

I'm in a discussion with a Christian friend over Christian dating. She seems to be of the mind of very limited physical contact when dating. She mentioned "True dating and hugging" I asked her where she heard this from, but so far she has not answered me. What is "true kissing and hugging"...

About Psalm 105:22 about Joseph getting out of prison

"To imprison his high officials at will, That he might teach his elders wisdom. " Psalm 105:22. Joseph had to have seen and heard many things about the high officials. Imagine him being put second in command and looking around the room at the high officials. "Hey you, over there. Remember me...

Do you really want a woman who is like Jael? She was a woman of GOD.

When I say I wasn’t a biblical wife, what people think I mean: I want a wife who is passive and subservient. What I really mean is: I want a wife who is totally willing to drive a tent spike into a tyrant’s head should the opportunity arise. Judges 4:21 “But Jael, Heber’s wife, picked up a...

    Explain Revelation 22:15

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates. But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Revelation 22:15 What...

Interesting insight to Joseph in Egypt Psalm 105:17

When he summoned a famine on the land and broke all supply of bread, he had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; until what he had said came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him. The king sent and...

Why do Christians tell you you shouldn't ask GOD for material things?

I'm 68. still working to get by. I've had Christians who own a home, have nice car, nice retirement account so they don't have to work. But tell me I shouldn't be asking GOD for material things. I remind them, everything you have is from the hand of GOD. Yet somehow, my asking GOD for any...

Ezekiel 14:14 A scary thought for America.

“Son of man, if a land sins against Me by acting unfaithfully, and I stretch out My hand against it to cut off its supply of food, to send famine upon it, and to cut off from it both man and beast, then even if these three men— Noah, Daniel, and Job— were in it, their righteousness could deliver...

What annoys me about people telling single Christians about dating

Many people pushing the rules for Christian dating, annoy me. They have lived their lives from their 20's to their 40's, having sex before marriage They've been married 2 or 3 times and now want to tell singles to be pure and holy before the LORD by setting up limits to dating, yet they never...

Jesus put people into 2 groups, Eunuchs and NOT Eunuchs

Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way; others were made that way by men; and still others live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it...
