    Importance of truth

The development of the doctrine of the Trinity in early Christian theology was indeed influenced by the intellectual environment of the time, which included Greek philosophical thought among other factors. It's important to recognize that the formulation of Christian doctrines, including the...

    Christ is God

Yes Christ is fully God. Too many people focus on that and forget He is also fully human in every way. The Word according to John Chapter 1 is God and is eternal. Look again at this term to distinguish it in usage from the term Son. The Word or Logos can mean the plan, thought, or mind of God...

    THE REAL BAPTISM

The transition from the baptism of John to belief in Christ is also marked by the reception of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost and Fire baptism John was talking about), which is a distinctive aspect of Christian initiation and life. The Holy Spirit was promised by Jesus (John 14:16-17) and was...

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

Anytime I can speak the Truth of God's word is never a waste of time. My hope is for an honest look into what is being said and discuss from a true biblical perspective so we all can come to the knowledge of the Truth.

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

Do you believe the things i'm saying are true. And if so why are there so many people unwilling to search and believe the truth of Scripture. Especially knowing where the greek (pagan) thought process of the Trinity comes from. I think it could possibly be the greatest deception of the enemy to...

Greek Philosophical thought or What Jesus (i.e. The Bible) taught

Distinct roles the ONE God has shown throughout history to His Church. Not persons of God.

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

That is precisely the point I am trying to make not to use the wisdom of this world through vain philosophies, but to adhere to what the Bible says. Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world...

Greek Philosophical thought or What Jesus (i.e. The Bible) taught

Because if Jesus is FULLY God how can you split His person into three. Jesus never ceases to be fully God. So in essence God the Father was at the Cross. His divine nature had to step back because His Human Nature had to feel the full weight and pain of Sin for the entirety of the world.

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

That is excellent information thank you so much. Help my understanding of why or how (other than what I've stated) church history arrived at persons of God rather than an understanding that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is one God who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption...

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

Trinitarians universally describe their doctrine as a mystery. As discussed in chapter 4, however, the only mystery relative to the Godhead is the manifestation of God in flesh, and even that has been revealed to those who believe. A mystery in Scripture is a divine truth previously unknown but...

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

O.K. But If Jesus meant plurality of persons, He had the perfect opportunity to use the word "names" when giving the command to baptize but He used the singular to keep in line with God being inseparably ONE. Jewish community as a whole wouldn't except His claim to Full deity because that would...

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

I'm trying to engage you're are not. You're not pointing out where I am in error scripturally and backing it up. It is only unfruitful when you think a brother is in the wrong and you don't correct him, which a true christian should do. Because souls could be lost as a result.

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

Have I said anything that is not scripturally sound doctrine. If so, as a true christian I urge you to point out error as we all should for the benefit of the truth and for souls to be saved. But with blatant outright disagreement without backing it up with scripture is unfruitful for everyone...

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

My hope is for an honest discussion and when someone says your wrong it should be backed by Scripture or we profit nothing from learning and searching the truth.

When did the Trinitarian concept enter and disrupt the strict monotheistic religion of Judaism and early Christianity?

I didn't mean to sound self absorbed. I just posted quite a bit of material without a counter response for a while now. I am trying to put aside 1000s of years of bias and concepts that were not the intention of the original writers or Jesus teaching. I want to be as selfless as possible because...

When did the Trinitarian concept enter and disrupt the strict monotheistic religion of Judaism and early Christianity?

I am here to spread the message of truth with sound doctrine, so by chance one soul can be saved by what we say here. And welcome honest open scripturally backed discussion on this Truth and how we arrive there that souls can be touched by the power of His word.

    CHRISTIAN MONOTHEISM NOT TRITHEISM

What of passages of Scripture that seem to describe more than one person in the Godhead? They appear to do so only because of years of usage by those who believe in more than one person in the Godhead. When a person strips his mind of all man-made interpretations, connotations, and doctrines...
