    A KISSed History of Beliefs

    6. Christianity – Founded by Jesus and his disciples, especially the apostle Paul (c. 30-68 A.D.), who taught that God’s love & POS includes everyone and that the NT superseded the OT. However, knowledge of the NT was limited by hand-copying, so most church leaders deferred to the bishop in Rome...

    Understanding God’s election

So, you confess again the sin of impugning the righteous love of God for humanity, however accidentally (cf. Matt. 27:11). In order to love people identically, He would have to treat them fairly, which He surely does, although Scripture could explain that truth a little more clearly, so some...

    Saved by faith alone?

Why do you say that? What do you "realize" I stated?

    Saved by faith alone?

Well, Paul said saved souls will receive immortal spiritual bodies as they are resurrected to heaven (1Cor. 15:42-54).

    Saved by faith alone?

I read this to be answered by Paul in Acts 16:31 as “Believe in the Lord Jesus.” (ACTS 16:31) This is GRFS in a nutshell. However, reading further we find that GRFS can be stated in various ways, which may cause confusion. Some statements (e.g. ACTS 16:31, & Eph. 2:8-9) are in terms of...

    The Teachings of Jesus (TOJ)

TOJ #29: Do good even to evil-doers. [Matt. 5:38-42//Luke 6:29-30] The principle Jesus wants to supersede that of limited vengeance or “eye for eye” (Exod. 21:24, Lev. 24:20, Deut. 19:21) is found in Proverbs 25:21-22. Whenever we are insulted, we should consider the source of lies (Eph. 6:12)...

    Understanding God’s election

Listen to yourself! Your doubletalk demonstrates the contradiction: love toward some is NOT omnilove. Any English teacher would tell you that as a matter of mere semantics.

    Saved by faith alone?

It sounds more like we can be saved without being saved.

    Saved by faith alone?

Yes, but why do you apparently disagree?

    Saved by faith alone?

I agree, but does that mean you agree with what I said?

    Saved by faith alone?

God's requirement for salvation (cf. Acts 16:30).

On the contrary, you exemplify the fact that a natural woman both can and cannot comprehend GW.

    Understanding God’s election

You've got it backwards. I am the one who believes omnilove and omnipotence are not mutually exclusive, so YOU need to show how they are such--but as illustrated by Reason for the Exodus.

    Understanding God’s election

Which came first: God's omnipotence or God's omnilove? THAT is the more relevant question for this thread .

The Five Baptisms of the New Testament

It sounds like you were involved with a few confused souls. Jesus first spoke of the HS in John 14, 15 & 16 in connection with further comfort and guidance--not tongues. The HS is who cleans vessels. What you witnesses most likely was emotionalism rather than touching by the HS. I am glad your...

    Saved by faith alone?

Well, you are the first soul I have met who said that, so please explain the difference per Scripture re GRFS. Thanks!

    Saved by faith alone?

So you believe there is more than one salvation?!

    Understanding God’s election

Not based upon attempts with the TULIPists on this thread! I do acknowledge the need for perseverance and that with God all things are possible, but I also realize that both Jesus (in Matt. 13:14-15) and Paul (in Acts 28:26-27) expressed frustration with those who are closed-minded.

No, but because it does not ignore like you do: TOP #19: On Judgment Day God will enforce just punishment via souls reaping what they have sown or done. [RM 2:5-6, cf. TOP #83] Punishment is just because God does not show favoritism (EPH 6:9, COL 3:25, 1PT 1:17). TOP #221: God is just...
