Are you a monergist or a synergist?

God didn't let David build the Temple but had Solomon in mind. In David's obedience he gathered all of the materials for Solomon. But it's intriguing to think God made Elijah reject Him in favor for Elisha to anoint the king. Anything is possible. But thinking that rejecting God is actually...

I’m trying to reconcile what scripture says with the common belief that abortion is murder. Can anyone point me to scripture that builds that gap?

Indeed. But dust without moisture doesn't become pliable to form something like Paul's illustration the Potter and the Clay.

I’m trying to reconcile what scripture says with the common belief that abortion is murder. Can anyone point me to scripture that builds that gap?

Technically, Adam was a lump of clay until the Breath of God gave him life. The union of Seed and Egg is the Spark that ignites life. Anything from that point onward is removing life which is Murder or to Kill life.

What is the Abomination of Desolation?

The claiming to be God is not as great of an Abomination to the Jews because at first they will believe he is, who will witness the Antichrist in the future as the ungodly Offering upon the Altar of the Temple would be. This is why Yeshua mentioned Daniel.

Are you a monergist or a synergist?

I'm including that God's Will includes how it is fulfilled. And knowing that God told Elijah to anoint a king He knew Elijah would reject Him. Meaning He knew He would then go to Elisha to anoint the king. And that entire process was part of fulfilling God's Will.

I’m trying to reconcile what scripture says with the common belief that abortion is murder. Can anyone point me to scripture that builds that gap?

Jeremiah 1:5 might be specific to Jeremiah alone but the Commandment Do Not KILL is universal. A Zygote is the union of Seed and Egg therefore LIFE. So as the Zygote becomes a Fetus and eventually an unborn Child it is all 100% Life that God Commands to not KILL.

Working all things after the counsel of His own will can include being rejected but still knowing that someone else will complete the task.

Are you a monergist or a synergist?

I'm well aware that you're stating the fact that God has set into motion a series of events that includes whether the first person or next eventually fulfills the ultimate Will of God. Basically, God knows that if person A chooses to not complete the task it's part of process that God knew...

What is the Abomination of Desolation?

I will stick with the fact that Yeshua was able to recall an event that did happen in the past so those listening to Him could reference to about the future.

The Abomination of Desolation has happened a few times and why God referred back to Daniel to the audience listening because they were well aware of that information.

Are you a monergist or a synergist?

God's foreknowledge was the same for Jonah as it was when Elijah disobeyed God and ultimately Elisha fulfilled the Command by God. There's no question about foreknowledge. There's only the question about even should you reject God someone else will obey. So it's not about God getting what He...

    Who is the restrainer?

Actually, each head is a Kingdom that is destroyed. But how do you get return from this? Aside from your own reasoning I mean.

Are you a monergist or a synergist?

I believe that God indeed orchestrates what is going to happen but not necessarily with a specific person. God ordered Elijah to anoint King Jehu as King but refused and then later God had Elisha fulfill it. There's several examples in the Bible like this. Had Jonah not repented there's...

What is the Abomination of Desolation?

In Matthew 24 Jesus makes a very unique mention to those listening. He said something that those who were there would be very familiar with. He said (remember Daniel) in reference to Abomination Desolation. What's interesting about the reference to Daniel is the timing of when Daniel wrote...

Is praying in public against a direct command from Jesus? Does this also include church and public meals?

Typically, whenever I see the term used against praying like legalism my initial thought is I wonder if maybe that person doesn't have enough to say to God to pray for an hour or more.

Are you a monergist or a synergist?

Ultimately Jonah repented. It's not a mystery about God knowing this would happen. It's a mystery however because Jonah didn't know that he would repent. We all believe we would but won't know for certain until we're facing that moment.
