The person Paul describes in the latter part of Romans 7 is not a Christian. He describes himself as,' I am carnal, sold under sin'. v14. These words do not describe a Chistian (see Rom 6) but rather an unsaved Saul trying to find justification through the Law, who finally finds it in Christ v25.
