Do you really believe in Jesus?

@christianbeliever144 , do you know whether you are a believer in Jesus? Do you ever struggle with wondering if you are a believer? I have dealt with this fear of not being a believer. I have found Scripture to be an encouragement as well as a tract I found at work once. It is good to depend...

Do you really believe in Jesus?

This is not an accurate portrayal of what I was trying to get across. I'm sure many believers want to follow Jesus closely. I also want to follow Jesus closely. Yet our faith is not determined by how well we follow Jesus. Faith comes from the heart and can show itself in various ways. One way...

Do you really believe in Jesus?

Consider Paul wrote in Romans 10:14 "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"( NIV) There is nothing about feeling here. There is an action which is...

Do you really believe in Jesus?

Honestly, I don't think it is necessary to have such feelings. Feelings can come and go . Motivation can wax and wane. The Scripture does not mention a need to have this kind of feelings in order to have faith.

Do you really believe in Jesus?

The Bible does not have a list of requirements to must meet in order to say one believes. I believe there is a simplicity to faith in Jesus.

Are you certain of going to heaven when you die ?

The gospel is the same in the book of John and in the letters of Paul. “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭6:40‬ ‭ESV‬‬...

Anyone watch the TV series The Chosen?

I have watched many episodes of the chosen. The first episode of the first season I enjoyed a lot. There are some things in the chosen I disagree with on their take on the Scripture account and certain ways Jesus is portrayed in his character. Some ways Jesus is shown in character I love in the...

    Allah and Christ

There are plenty of peaceful Muslims out there who would not agree with that statement.

Do you want to know the truth?

One question I had was how do you determine who has the Holy Spirit and does not? Another thought I had was people who have the Holy Spirit can still be wrong. They can still have wrong doctrine on some things and can misinterpret Bible verses. One thing I have been told with the Bible is...

    So scared

I often have gotten this strange urge to label stuff out loud or in my mind. For example if I read something crude, I might say that’s crude. When it comes to seeing scary stuff , I’ve often used words words to label it. I’ve had it before where I would to to focus hard on the words I was...

I only listened to some of Pilgrims Progress. I did enjoy Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners by John Bunyan. I may read or listen to all of Pilgrims Progress at sometime.

    So scared

I agree that it is unrelated to her dog. One thing about OCD is that often times the content of the thoughts are unwanted and do not reflect how the person truly feels. John Bunyan the author of Pilgrim’s Progress had intrusive thoughts that had bothered him intensely. Much of his struggle is in...
