All those are excuses. As someone who has hidden by those excuses all his adult life, they are just excuses. I have come up with a myriad of excuses of why I "should not" read as: do not want to date.

No. I believe there is a caveat if their former spouse cheated on them, but I don‘t want to go down the path of legalities. And dating separated women (not sure if same apples to men) can become costly depending on which country you live in.

I will say this....my geographical location is Earth. I am unwilling to relocate.

Divorced or they have kids already, they want an open relationship, or they require me to have intimate relations outside of marriage

My future plans revolve around me living happily alone….more space for me to enjoy my hobbies. I am not opposed to getting married but I also put in zero effort to have that happen either
