    Breaker Anointing?

Calling the work of satan a work of the Holy Spirit sounds like pretty dangerous ground to me, as well. People should be warned about faking. They should be reproved. If not they cast doubt, bring a reproach upon God, and also get their own selves in trouble for doing so. I'm sure God is not...

Why do Christians believe in a place of torment called Hell?

Yes, I guess it could be their disease. It doesn't seem to be referring to just a literal worm. I've always heard that it meant that the person would never cease from existence and the fire would never end. After looking into it, seems there are many different opinions on it, though.

Why do Christians believe in a place of torment called Hell?

Thanks for the answer. I suppose it could be as you say and just mean a literal "worm". Many believe that it is not an actual "worm" but something that is attached to the individual because it says "their" worm which seems to denote something personal. It could just be speculation, though, I...

Why do Christians believe in a place of torment called Hell?

What does Mark 9 mean? 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. It says this several times in this chapter...

    Breaker Anointing?

I've never heard of "breaker anointing" before. However, I would like to offer a prayer for any and all individuals who are deceived and deceiving others. That God would truly send his anointing to break the yoke of any and all evil spirits off of them. I found the videos very troubling...

    predestination vs freewill

The only way to the Father is through the Son. The Son is the light that lights every man that comes into the world. God gave Adam a commandment not to eat of the tree of knowledge or he would surely die. As soon as Adam disobeyed, he became spiritually dead and this curse continued for all...

    Is Obedience Necessary for Salvation?

Obedience is the evidence that we have been saved. Romans 6 The whole chapter speaks on this subject. The old man is dead and was buried with Christ unto death and resurrected with him to walk in the newness of life. Romans 6 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not...

Rom 6:17 "But thanks be to God that you who were slaves of sin have now become OBEDIENT from the heart..."

Romans 10 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 16...

    Let’s read Proverbs together!

Proverbs 3 21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. 23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. 24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou...

How to be a Christian without really trying.

Good post. Nicely explained. This is something that God has been working with me on. So it is a pleasant confirmation to see your post in regards to it. Your post has complimented and added to my teachings and explained so much for me. :) I'm not good with explaining, but it seems so...

Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

Yeah, that would make for a bad marriage for the husband or the wife. Just the anxiety involved of arguing or being yelled at and belittled is bad. Then add something like domestic discipline. That would be terrible and completely against God's intention and plan for marriages.

Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

Yep, I should've followed my own advice and just zipped it :censored: lol In hopes that it just died without anymore drama being added:oops: Because it is completely off the rails.

Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

Yeah, and the domestic discipline folks are also against "scripture" so I wouldn't really put much stock in their opinion, anyhow. Like I said, I don't think anyone here would agree with that type of behavior. Unless I am completely missing something, there is not one scripture that even...

Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

Guys I think you know, what married couples choose to do in the bedroom is not the topic of this thread. And it's not something that needs to be discussed in regards to this thread. The question posed is... "Is it biblically permissive to beat one's wife?" This a serious and even dangerous...

    It's good to be single.

This is different from my experiences. Most churches I have attended say it's better not to be married. Yet, most of the people saying that are married. Another thing I don't get is why most think singles have so much more free time. I've been on both sides of the fence. When...
