I see this poem as a snapshot, and a good one, of a serious sin problem that many of us struggle with. I think if you were to develop this into a large piece then thee would be room to add encouraging thoughts.

Good point about Solomon. I have been told that there are some Christians that God has blessed with wealth and manage to live balanced and Godly lives. But those people are rare exceptions.
