I'd like (Hopefully many others will too) and like/thanks button implemented into the forums. I think it'd be a wonderful tool for people who wanna say "thanks" or "I agree!"

Well there is an add reputation button, which works like a 'I agree' button thingy plus you can write a message on it too, you can use it... For now. God bless

Although there is on thing I don't get about rep. The message that says "You can not give reputation to this user. Spread some more reputation before giving it to user again". How much rep must you give to others before giving it to the same person again?

The like button concept has been suggested, and the idea supported, repeatedly.

I think the "like" button is a good idea. I personally like that better than a rep button.

This is something I could take or leave. I'm content with the rep button. Seems like people only want a "like" button because it's the backbone of their favorite social media site.

If Facebook had a Rep button and cc had a like button, people would want cc to have a rep button. ;)

The argument given by some against the rep button is that they only want to credit the particular post, and the the overall user. But i don't think most people realize you can check what rep is given to which post. And if you give rep on a post you can even leave a small message to the person as well. Just click 'Control Panel' at the top of the screen and it will show you your most recent rep gains.
