A 2nd Lounge Chat Room - From observation

It may just be a passing thought coming from recent obervation, but I thought we may benefit from a 2nd lounge.
At times the main room does get very busy, and some people do "hog" the mic alot. I think its great having a large get together in the main room, but I often see others frustrated when trying to join/start a conversation.

Completly understand if this is just me having a moment to myself!!

If not a 2nd Lounge, could also suggest -

• Time out room
• Peaceful Party
• Take A Break
• Word/Numbers Games etc....

There is a Random room that can be a multi-purpose, ruckus room of sorts too.

I think the problem is a circular self defeating issue.

1. Everyone wants a chance to be on the mic.
2. Everyone wants to be in the room with all the people/action.

So if someone can't get the mic, you can suggest they and their handful of friends go to another room (Random for example. Or Lounge 2.). But they won't go because they don't want to be in a room with only five people!

So the desire to be able to get the mic so you can talk to your handful of friends is cancelled out by the desire to be in the room with all the people/action.

Nifty how that works eh?
