Could we have a "like" button like on fb?

A "like" button would be awesome! I often want to express agreement with a post, but it's sometimes hard to do so without derailing the thread. I'm hesitant to give rep points if I don't know the poster and their history, but I don't mind approving of specific posts. And, I'm afraid that a lot of new members leave because they feel ignored. It would be nice to have an easy way to encourage the good posters to keep posting!
