yes, thank you G-d's girl, we can all project out on others areas of our own lives that are not working well. for whatever reason, "Male and female He created them".
We can see this in those who claim to be "gay" when this runs counter to the created order, their sexual preference becomes a primary focus/identity, because it isn't right and thus they identify with the aberrant sexual preference when we know our identity is truly in the indwelling Christ.
That is the major error and how the adversary seeks to destroy the created order.

"Especially since so many men on here struggle with such issues as porn, lust or masturbation. It would be nice for them to have a private forum for that. "
Are you sure you aren't projecting out on others your own struggles?

I'm not projecting anything onto anyone. I don't have any addictions regarding those issues. However, several men and women and teens here DO have those struggles. But you'd know that if you visited the Family forum more often. :)

1, I am very much a FEMALE.

2. As I said, I have no porn, lust or addiction issues. But there are several here who do.

3. I AM NOT GAY. I am very straight, like an arrow..

Or the regular influx of men on this site seeking help for this problem. Or the statistics of porn addiction within the church.
I'm not sure about the need to throw baseless accusations at people for merely making a suggestion.
And "if" he were to have a problem of his own and wishing to discuss it privately among men, what benefit do you or he gain by you trying to force that into the public arena?

C'mon Subhumanoidal, don't be such a wet blanket! The dude he was speaking to turned out to be very much a lady with no addiction issues whatsoever, and also straight as an arrow, so problem solved, right? Unless she's wearing a good disguise, and then that's up to her. I don't think anyone was trying to force anything into a public arena. Let's live and let live, and stop making mountains out of mole-hills. :)

I wasn't speaking to a dude who turned out to be a woman. If there are"struggles"of anyone about anything it a pointy finger and and proud exclamation that "they have a problem and I don't have any" isn't what Christ modeled for us to emulate.
A bony finger pointed at someone doesn't produce the Galatians model of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control. It is more akin to religion and not faith. Jesus was clear when He said we are to love the Lord our G-d with all our heart, soul, and strength and love our neighbor as ourselves, and that doing so in His name will encompass all the law they were under at the that time.
Today's "christians" often emulate the pharisees of Jesus day more that the model of Jesus when He was here.

He was a Son of G-d working in a fallen world around people who didn't have a clue about what G-d was trying to do and He was dealing with fallen people who were carnally minded.
If we keep focusing on Jesus we will have no time to look at other "problems they are struggling with" Taking our eyes off Jesus produces "struggles" just as proclaiming we haven't any can produce pride, both miss the mark He has set for us.
Thank you Jesus for being who we are to keep our eyes fixed upon, you are the author and finisher of our faith.

No offense intended, bro, but you did seem to be stating the below to Blue_Ladybug, who did indeed turn out to be very much female. But my apologies if I misinterpreted you.

So true! Thank you. :)

True again! :)

Not just a son of G-d, *the* only begotten Son of God, God incarnate! :)

Tim, you totally misunderstood my post. OF COURSE I have problems. Read my testimonies, and you'll see for yourself. I was NOT "pointing a bony finger" at anyone, nor "proudly exclaiming" anything. I only stated that I personally don't have any addiction to porn or lust, as several others here do. And I, among others here, have given counsel to many of them, especially the teenagers. I'm not judging them, because we all have problems.

So stop pointing YOUR bony finger at ME, please.

It is a truth men get mad at things, women get mad at people, men will separate what a person does whereas women will tie the act to the person.
I have seen this in relationship breakups, if you ask the man what went wrong he will accept his role in the breakup whereas a woman, and I have not seen this otherwise will always blame the man. This to the point I have asked women who have had a failed relationship " what did he do to you?" there is an unloading of "wrongs" he did.
That is what would be of benefit to men to communicate with each other as opposed to women who will point to "men who have struggles" over what Christ taught us of the sin being separate of the person.
"Stop pointing at me" is a case in point. It is the action, not the person, the adversary seeks to steal, kill and destroy, and he has been doing it from the fall, he is good at it.
Men- try this if you come into contact with a lady who has had this experience, ask her about it and see if this holds true in your experience as well.
It isn't about finger pointing, it is about taking our eyes off Jesus.
best wishes

I haven't been in a relationship since 2006.. And I have no intention of getting into one any time soon.

Alot of women here also struggle with lust, porn and masturbation. It affects both genders, unfortunately. And once again, I wasn't finger pointing, merely stating a fact.

If we are focused on Jesus and what He would have us do with every thought, word and deed, there are no struggles, there are struggles when we focus on flesh ruled desires of this corrupted world. Jesus never leads in this direction.
best wishes

Just call it the brothers forum and the ladies one rename the sisters forum.

If it doesnt last then dont worry about it but at least we can direct people where to go if they having issues and only want brothers responses or sisters responses.

There's already a ladies forum, and has been for years. And if we create a forum that never gets used and then send people there to get help and no one goes there, how will that help?

If you are male then go help your brothers. How will you know if it never gets used? Be the change .

Plus I would report a gun thread if it descends into arms stockpiling and violence.

I think the problem is men often just cant help each other and always seem to need to go to women anyway. Thing is they can just post and rant and rave, and nobody answers them and thats ok thats how its meant to be. You often cant answer or respond to craziness anyway. But at least they can let off steam away from anybody else.

It has been in existence since Jan. 3 2017 and has never remotely "descended into stockpiling and violence", and yet you make a threat like that?
Are you a mature adult? Seems to be such an off the wall comment.
Sounds like emotion and not reason, women react with emotion, men react with reason, hence the need for men to communicate with men with their G-d given gift of reason.
Reason doesn't "rant and rave", emotion will tend to "rant and rave".

I stated this previously in this thread, though it's understandable you mY not have read the while thread.
I've been to various other Christian forum sites, most of which had a mens forum. In every case it looked identical...
Mens Forum started.
About 10-20 men participate.
Roughly 10 new threads created and the car thread is the most heavily used. All other threads are things like hunting, NASCAR and other "masculine" themes. One sex or porn thread with three guys that don't say much, and it's always at the bottom of the list.
2 months later the whole sub-forum is a ghost town and stays that way for years.

and, like I responded after reading that post, we are back to The Gun Thread, where men can hang out and is already in existence.
