I don't know often people here experience technical difficulties with the site, but I need some help and I couldn't decide where to post it.

And if there's a place to post something like this that I missed, please, show it to me :D

For some reason, even though I haven't posted in this
http://christianchat.com/christian-young-adults-forum/35761-help.html
thread since about two days ago, every so often it'll say I've posted again. It isn't so much a problem but it's a bit annoying. Is it something that can be fixed?

Oh, and I should probably include that if there isn't a place to post stuff like this, we should make one :D

I think most tech problems end up here. Maybe some in Misc.

I don't really understand what you're saying the problem is. Are you saying that CC is telling you you're making posts you're not making? If so, where is it telling you that? Might want to explain more clearly. Or maybe its just me. o.o

The thread name is 'Help'. I posted the link in the first post, although when I look at it it isn't immediately distinguishable. Yesterday, it said I posted 25 minutes or so ago when I checked the control panel, when I had not posted.

CC is telling me I keep making the same post over and over again. At different times. And without adding to the thread.

But your post is at least not being regurgitated/repeatedly posted, right? It's just incorrectly informing you?

If the latter is the case, then that sounds like a hiccup with the CC server and your connection to it. I'm not sure what can be done about that, really. =/

If it's the former, and your posts are being redistributed automatically, then perhaps contact a Mod to rectify the issue.

Good luck!

Ah, ok, now i understand, thanks. Yeah, seems to me something Robo may have to look into himself. I'd send him an email letting him know.

Hi Kyouken :)
The link to your post that's been giving you trouble isn't working for me, I tried to find it but you've actually posted in two different threads titled "help" in the past few days :D
But I believe the reason is this, if the thread was the one with a poll in it, the thread gets bumped every time somebody votes in the poll, regardless of whether or not they make a post in that thread. So, in the forum index, it "refreshes" the time that the last post was made, as well as alerting all subscribers to the thread, that a new post was made... when there isn't one!
Dunno what to do about it, though... might be an issue with v-bulletin itself rather than something easily fixable.

Siberian_Khatru, it's the latter.

Ugly, I might do that if it notifies me again.

Lo, I never use the quick reply button (not for any reason, but, well, it never 404's me when I do otherwise).

PopClick, I just realized that the links will never work ^_^; I think I posted them wrong... (or it was Chrome's doing; whatever).

Thanks, guys. That clears it up for me (I'll remember that, PopClick, whenever I post in a polled forum).

The link in your OP does work. I just didn't know it was there the first time. Or at least it worked last night when i tried it. But yeah, the second link didn't work.
Wow, Pop, good job.
