This is more of a query than a suggestion....

Sometimes a thread will turn up in my 'control panel' because it's one that I've replied to. It will say that the last reply in that particular thread was, say, 45 minutes ago, or 2 hours ago. But when I go to that thread, the last post was 4 or 5 days ago....and I've already read it.

Or...sometimes a thread will make its way to the top of a forum, and be in bold, indicating that there have been new replies....but when I click on it, no new replies!

Maybe I'm just going crazy....

Do those particular threads have polls in them? If so, it might not be because someone has made a reply, but because someone has voted in the poll.

It is most likely the poll thing that Pineapple said.... Every time someone votes on a poll, even if they havn't posted a reply to the thread, it brings it to the top, basically making it look like there is a new post. It's just a new vote.

Hey, I'm glad you posted this Sharp, and that I seen it! haha I've been wondering what was up with this lately too!! I kept getting a particualr thread in my control panel and I was the last person to post! hahaha cool...now I figure it's the poll on the thread. Thanks!!!
