The one thing that I don't like is in the chat rooms when people are talking on the mic and the picture shows up with the name it blocks the words of the people that are typing and you can't read them till it goes way up to the top. Is there somewhere or someway you could move the picture so it doesn't block the conversations so you read what people are typing!

well yeah seriously, it is really hard to read with the avatar

As anew member I found both annoying, as a new member. I discovered how to stop hearing the chat (enter by the muted option when you log in)

The pop up picture is another matter, I wondered why they kept coming up (when I could not hear a sound there was nothing to associate them with). [I considered that they may have paid to have themselves drawn to attenion:p] Now I know the real reason, but would agree that they should either be dispensed with, or moved to a less disrupting place.

haha okay so i remember last year when voice chat was first set up and they had tried that stupid picture ALLLLLLL over the place! lol and honestly... i think it's in the least annoying place where it is now... lol maybe it'd be nice to come up in a seperate box--like when people are on cam on messangers so that you could just close it out if u didn't need to know what was going on! yeah but that could be difficult... maybe a separate space for it under the smilies? then ya'd just have to make the little member list shorter--sure a little more scrolling... but it wouldn't be quite as obnoxious? hmm

I, too, agree that the avatar popping up is very annoying.

Oke, again a great suggestion. What would you suggest where it should be going?
I think the disadvantage of Flash is its size. So i think it cost some work to get some nice borders at some points.
On a spot where it does not bother people is pretty hard to realise i think.
I would say this is a moderate change.

heyyy if the avatar will be moved.. uhh where should it be placed? lol

suggestion: full screen. everytime someone talks another window opens full screen with ur avatar, and u have an option to minimize it LOL haha that would be funny, lol jk

Detailed suggestions are the most usefull and then when other players respond to it you can make the idea perfect. After that maybe RoboOp will look for a few seconds. And then click it away. So than you made your point. LOL kidding about the clicking away. But I think the guy is really busy.

anyways, another suggestion,, make the avatar animated... so everytime u hold the mic, ur avatar wont stay where it was.. it will move around the room, goes up and down . then goes from left to right.. in that way, u still will be able to read ur msgs.. LOL that would be haha awesome.

I have a good suggestion...... WHy dont you just move the avatar to the top of the chat so we can have time to read what someone says instead of waiting on it to go above the avatar. I think that would help a lot more!

Yes... That might also be a think that RoboOp is capable of doing. That is maybe changing coordinates, because now it looks like some sort of layer over it. I wonder this might be a temp good solution.

Why must there be an avatar popping up in the main chat window anyway? I really do not see its relevance. If its purpose is to let the chatters know who is speaking on the mic, why not create a very small mic icon and place it in front of the member's name, the one who is actively speaking on the mic, from the member list.
