I'm a third generation biker, saved by grace. When I say biker, I don't mean we owned motorcycles and rode on weekends. I mean, I ran dope, guns and women. I hurt people who screwed the club or didn't pay their dope debts. I dealt dope and babysat girls at the strip club.
Coming from a very violent home life and being addicted to dope from an early age, I didn't learn the nicer things in life like emotions and social skills. Eventually, I ended up homeless and finally in rehab. I learned about the higher power concept and eventually finally had my "appointment" with God. I was hesitant to go there because I had played for the other team for a while and I was sure that God would not forgive me. I have since learned that God is not mad at me, that He loves me where I am.
I quit fighting Him and while I stil can't relate to people who have been saved all their lives, I serve God in the best way I know how. By taking what was given to me back to where I came from. I go back into hell on a daily basis and I don't preach. I just love them where they're at. I am available to share my experience strength and hope when asked.

Welcome to the Body of Christ, brother :)

We have a tremendous Father do we not? No matter what we've done, He still loves us!!

You do have life experiences that can take you into places and situations that a person reared in a stable Christian home-life could NEVER relate to. May these experiences work in your Christ-led current life to make you a avenue for the work of the Holy Spirit into these people's lives!

Praying for continued blessings in your life and that the Spirit guides and guards you in all your relationships :)

I very much agree with Lucy =) I would personally Love to hear your story, or parts of it that you feel comfortable sharing.... I could only ever vaguely relate to you, and only because my first bf was a biker. some of the things you mentioned I have seen and experienced bc of that, but cannot imagine living my entire life in it. Bless you, and what you've seen and been through <3

Hi, Im also a biker who has lived a nasty life, plus I also went through loosing my family, truck, friends, bike, house, etc and ended up laying on a hospital bed dying from it all. I was asked if I would pray to God and ask him to heal me by this woman. I said why not, I was drugged up, drunk, everything else so I said to God " if you heal me I promise I will never touch this stuff again. Guess what, my Cancer, Pancreatic, and everything else went away, and I don't mean overnite, I mean it went away that same day. They took me into the CT Scan and I came out all healed. This is straight, no lie. A bunch of other good stuff happened too. It was 1995 when this happened. I now live in Greece in a small stone house, I ride around with my Chopper FXCWC all over Europe, Asia, wherever wearing my leathers with big cross on the back and stuff all over proclaiming Gods love and I yap to anyone and everyone who will listen what happened to me! I have never broke my promise to God cuz I know what will happen to me and I have a wife and a Chihuahua now that ride with me everywhere. It's what I have devoted the remaining years of my life to. I am 58 now, no job but God has given us a bounty and we are in good shape. We save a little and ride, we make no plans, just ride. Anyway man, you will make it if you have Faith and put your life in Gods hands, tell him that! He will listen. Talk to him just like you talk with anyone, I do... Step completely into the light, you will be glad you did. Biker Dave
