Just now I went to go to work. My car wouldn't start. I tried two, three, four times - nothing. I bowed my head and prayed Father, please make this car start. I tried. It started first time. Praise God. Brothers, sisters, have a good day.
I have a car story too!! And it is almost like yours. My friend had just left my apartment and stopped to get gas. Well, he locked himself out of the car. He called my brother and told him. My brother was going to go and I was going to stay, but I went just to make sure things were okay (every time I go like this, things end up not okay.)
Well he exhausted all his options of getting home that night, and then, while they were at the pay phone, I prayed and asked the Lord to open the car. I took out my parent's house key, and put it in the lock, and turned... DOOR OPENED!
He said it was strange how the door closed, as it was wide open, as if it closed on it's own. When we did open the door, it was really wide open, so that it could have only closed if someone shut it.
But I think it was for me to have a chance to exercise my faith.
