Do you have any idea why he did not speak to you for the 25 years? And what did you do to cause him to speak again or do you know?

Job 33-14 indicates He speaks to us all the time, we just don't perceive it.
Jesus, in John 16-13 tells us when Holy spirit comes, and that is where we are now, He will guide us in all truth.

Hi, The Lord stopped revealing anything to me 5 years ago. He had told me I was healed of something.
think I know what caused Him to go quiet & have repented, but not sure repentance was sincere. I’ve been here before, so I have faith The Lord will return. But it’s a v.troubling time when it happens 😔

praying in the personal prayer language is the fastest, best, way I know to walk in His presence and anointing.

Bless you bro....he spoke to me for 3 yrs....then nothing for 25 yrs.....I also repented went back to church..I have done everything he has asked me to do....once again he is talking to me.......I have a real personal relationship with him....every day I say not my will Lord....your will!

You have strong faith and he will speak to you once again.....God Bless You!.

Dear silverwings, I’m really sorry, but I’m with Kim 82 on this... It’s because I used to go to ‘Christian’ spiritualist church, (they said they were Christian, but I don’t ever remember the speaker mentioning Christ). Anyway, that sounds iffy to me too. I’m sure it was comforting, but...

Has he ever written words through you when you type?

He has done that to me on a couple of occasions...I went back and read it again.....those weren’t my words..that was the Holy Spirit guiding my fingers on the keyboard.....another thing....I am a useless speller.....every word I typed from God. was spelt correctly.....it’s amazing...

God does not talk to us through dead people Luke 16:26-31

Even the spirit which the witch raised up to talk to Saul rebuked him. 1 Samuel 28:15

Saul was condemned for seeking guidance from a spirit and not from God. 1Chronicles 10:13-14

I'm not "with anyone" on this, Silverwings.
Your experience is your experience and you I am sure have taken this to the Lord for His confirmation.
If we look to people for assurance and/or approval or confirmation we will miss the mark. We are to take everything to Him.
We haven't been under the old testament for 2,000 years.
Everything is forward with the Lord, especially with this Pentecost of Pentecosts, after this world wide reset to bring people back in repentance and relationship.

No, with me, it’s always been a thought in my head, usually a verse from The Bible that I’ve gone on to read later, and always the opposite of what I was thinking 🙏

I identify completely with that. God gave me several poems over the years, but the most special one was on my birthday!! That morning I got up and was going to a city about 60 miles from where I lived to pick up hardware that my husband sold and was going to deliver, I had a knowing that I needed to take pen and paper with me in the truck.

I was about a third way there, praising him, when I knew it was time to write. I got my pen and held the paper over the steering wheel, and words came into my mind. I wrote them word for word, then it was over. I could hardly wait to get to the warehouse, to borrow one of the typewriters in the office. I told them what had happened that God had given me a birthday present, and I wanted to share it with them.

I typed it out just like I wrote it, line for line, it filled the whole page, just perfect. The punctuation was perfect too. It was titled The One.

I was so excited to see just what God had done. I had it copywrited, but I have not done anything with it, I might post it here, if that is what the Lord wants. It warms my spirit just thinking about it. This was around the time I got saved in 1985. Thank you for reading, this was a super blessing for me, and I hope it helps you in some way. God bless!!

I did not seek this out, it just happened. It was way too precious for me to ever question it, I understand some not understanding it, and that is ok, It was very real. It seemed like a vision to me, maybe it was a dream, I do not know, but I jumped and it was over. The sweet spirit lingered for several minutes, then I went back to sleep. I was asleep when it happened, but awoke enough to respond.

I have not shared this very often over the years, so there must be a reason for it now. I hope it will bless someone. Whether we know it or not.

The man soon had a stroke, and the insurance company that I had just spoken to over the phone, agreed to pay me for the mobile home, not what i had paid but what the home was actually worth, (God is an awesome God) Another time he woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to pray for a certain woman that i knew, I did and went back to sleep, I ran into her a few days later and told her what had happened, the look she gave me spoke volumns, she admitted to being in trouble even though she did not say what,he spoke thru actions when a hail storm came thru, and there was a cover that i could get under to protect my vehicle, and at home the roof was destroyed and two heavy duty plastic chairs, but on the other side of the house the cars rear end was sticking out from under the carport, and was not damaged, I had no insurance on the car, but was covered with the roof, he showed me thru that just how meticulous he can be.
.Another time my late husband walked into our bedroom and over to me and kissed me ever so sweetly on the lips, linguring for several seconds, then it was over and he disappeared, but the sweet spirit remained for several minutes. Another time I was getting ready to go to the bank with my husband to sign a new loan, the Lord strongly impressed upon me to not do this, I told my husband, but he scoffed it off, refusing to not go thru with the loan, it turned out to be the hardest loan we had ever attempted to pay, and before that the same thing happened with a preacher that we were going to sign on for a loan for a church building, but again he refused to listen, and again the loan turned into a nightmare, at one time it seemed as if we were going to loose everything we had worked for due to failure on the pastors part, but God graciously rescued us, just in time.

All of this was years ago, and he has been silent for a long time, but I believe that is my fault because i have not been faithful to be in his word. Forgive me Lord.

God has spoken to me (not audibly) for many decades now. But I learned to hear his voice in my youth. In general, I would encourage you to ask God why He has not clearly spoken, if there is some disobedience in your life or heardness of heart or anything that you are doing or failing to do so that you no longer hear Him as you did.

I can tell you that if He speaks and we do not obey and do not repent of this, it gets harder to hear his voice. So I would recommend you seek HIm. Sometimes He withdraws to see if we will put in the effort to seek Him. Ask HIm why He is no longer speaking to you or why you cannot hear Him so clearly.

I also recommend for anyone wanting to learn to hear his voice start by asking simple yes and no questions. That was what I found was easier for me to hear the answers. But it is always true that the compliant child of God will hear his voice more clearly than the stubborn one. The price of disobedience to the known will of God in something He spoke to you is a hard of hearing that developes. Makes sense. If we refuse to do what He asks, why should He keep asking us?
