My jaw dropped after reading this thread, especially the responses, no one has suggested that maybe she should pay back her family and friend? Not just pay them back what she stole, but tell them sorry for the harmful things you've done. It's easy to just expect forgiveness from God, you need to do your part, if you really feel ashamed, if you really feel like you've done the people who love you wrong, fix it.

Don't feel worthy of yourself until you've put some effort to fix the mistakes you have done. Life isn't free.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And He's free.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Rom_8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
1Co_2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

If the Lord led her to confession, He can lead her, a step at a time, in asking for forgiveness and in making things right with those around her. The first thing that she needs to know is that Jesus is her Life now. From that all of these things you have mentioned will be addressed. In His time and in His way.

Let's lift a finger to help ease this burden, will you pray for the Lord to help her with this burden, and all of the "what if's" that come with confessing to people the things that we have done?

I'll stand with you in prayer for her.

It is a process, let God be God...he will move her heart to do what is right in his timing.
Some things are better left completely up to God. We are to love the person...hate the sin.
Most of these issues are between her and God. Yes she should go and ask for forgiveness,
it is not our place to judge.

John 8
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
