MessengerofTruth, quick question? I hope? Fortunately this has almost completely quit happening and I brought this up on the phone with a preacher one time and didn't get an answer. I get this quick thought in my head on occasion that says 'what are you doing praying' or maybe some similar thought like taunting me for considering God. I asked the preacher about this being like somewhere I've seen the idea of the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. He didn't give an answer. I brought it up here on chat and don't recall what the response was.

Some time it seems I get caught up with the same old ideas that won't shake loose. For example, the church I follow online had a new preacher come in and I was happy to see a guy with a bad background as preacher but just the mention of family get together or family doings and I start thinking of shooters, but fortunately he only stayed on the topic a real short time. But it is like people with PTSD getting triggered.
I understand. I also have triggers, what they would probably call PTSD. I have found victory in treating them just like a temptation. I press into the LORD. I call on Him in a real way, like for my very life and He always shows up with a sense of peace. I often wonder why He would be so kind to me and always rescue me, but I don't stay there, I begin thanking Him for all of His Kindness and declare with my whole heart how good He has been to me. Sometimes out loud and sometimes in my spirit.

I don't believe that Christians truly understand what we are dealing with on this earth. There is literally technology in use to affect you on a spiritual level. This is why we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We must keep our minds on things above and always be thankful, even for the "bad" stuff, knowing the He works All things for good to those that love Him and are called according to His purposes.

It is very much like the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. We must take Every thought captive and cast down any that try to rise above our knowledge of GOD and His will. Even the mocking voices. They are real. We have a very real enemy. He hates us with a cruel hatred. I could tell you stories of how if he had power to kill me, he would have, but GOD rescued me every time.

I would encourage you to have a life verse. Keep it up in front of you in your home, on your phone, on your computer everywhere you think to put it so that you keep your mind on truth especially when you are under an attack. Fill your home with many scriptures. This is what GOD meant when He told the Israelites to write things on their door posts.

I have thought of doing this but never did. For me it is like I still get taken back to what I see as a self-destructive kid. Most attempts I make to start doing positive projects that would be conducive to my home environment never get off the ground. But this does not seem like it has a real negative impact. I feel like I am a tree hugger. i.e. Environmentalist Only thing I am not very orderly about it. More like eccentric. If I were wealthy the term eccentric is something else, but I don't recall right now.

The comment you make about technology may have a lot to do with much of the disorder today. Almost certain this came up on another thread and reminded me of the true crime book by Robert Ressler, 'Whoever Fights Monsters'. Ressler consulted for the movie 'Silence of the Lambs', about serial killers. Almost certain he mentions the guy who murdered his neighbor because the neighbor pointed his TV antenna at him, and it gave him gas and the murderer was up for parole and almost granted till asked why this would not happen again. The reply was because the SOB who was pointing the antenna was dead. I met a woman who told me she was getting 'zapped' by people pointing antennas at her.

I speculate that the Ark of the Covenant was designed in such a way that it picked up static charge and that is why any who touched it would die. God used technology early on I would say. People today think they are going to somehow 'detect' the 'spirit' world with some technology and always try to do so. I am almost certain all attempts to do this will fail. Likely the reason some think we can do so with some technology may be based on the 'extensiveness' or 'enhancement' of the five senses with equipment we build seems to have no end to some people. Like X-rays gave us ability to see inside of people.

I don't get any sensations today that seem 'supernatural'. But years ago, especially as a kid, I certainly would get a very 'wonderful' like or 'unusual' sensation at a certain time around dusk. Can't say that it was related to any specific technological thing. Also, as an adult I recall at least one time around 1990 that I had a very strong sensation about a certain company's stock when I heard it announced on the radio. Seems to me that these kinds of sensations are somehow 'supernatural'.

And I think you posted about getting rid of some objects, elephants maybe, because of a certain 'sense' you had about them. To me all these 'senses' are similar but are they all evil or possibly warnings of evil or possibly good? Even if your getting rid of the objects was just based on a realization of what they represented there is likely something to it that may be explained somewhere in scripture. Again, maybe with the bit of history with Rachel or Leah snagging those gods. Was that a smart thing to do or a dumb thing?

Not too long ago I started associating with an Assemblies of God (AG) group near me and it seems that I based my linking up with them was mostly on the way they pray whenever they meet. I haven't physically been there but watch them on the web. As it turns out the AG people are I think called Pentecostals and try to be aware of potential and actual Spirit led and Spirit aided miracles. At least that is my understanding.

Right now, I just focus on core issues like the sermons that Charles Spurgeon preached. I really appreciate you trying to help me understand this aspect of reality which seems to be poorly understood. I definitely don't understand it but know that the people at the time Jesus was here as man had a hard time understanding it too. Like Simon Magus and Bar Jesus on Crete I think didn't get it and many examples in the NT. Almost certain of this. Hopefully this doesn't sound like beating a dead horse. I was just listening to the Jewish podcaster Ben Shapiro and he even acknowledges that trying to fully understand God and the ways God works is impossible for us. He probably is not a Christian Jew and may only be relying on Mishnah and other Jewish sources so that is insightful for him. All the best on day 5 of the new year.

There will "soon" be two witnesses coming to prophesy to the inhabitants of the earth and they will make things clear on how God sees things. I'm looking forward to it! Hope they can help you sort some things out. :)

"A big Thank You! For those that share their life testimonies which helps give an insight to personal
life experiences, great or small and allows a more intimate real time connection with one another,
'Here in the Now' in this 'wireless age' we are all witnessing. And each life carries their own experiences.
And in reality, my spiritual journey began in 1996. And I Thank God each day...believe it.

"And in the past decade, more or less, through inspiration of the Holy Spirit as my guiding light that
influences many things I share...believe it! A spiritual awakening led to spiritual awareness and enlightenment and now
of a spiritual consciousness...I am grateful in sharing."
"Thank God"...I came. I came to. I came to believe."
'Bingo'...Believe I need God, Ok.
