Hi everyone: I'm subsistute teaching right now and the kids are at lunch. I wanted everyone to pray for the schools and the kids. I witness a group of teenagers pray for their school every morning in the hallway in front of the SRO office and it really touched my heart. I think its wonderful to have dedicated and loving kids who care for others and each other. OK practice time:

Dear Lord: We pray for the kids and the schools and our government. Help everyone teach and learn to be closer to you Lord. For your power is awesome and your love knows no boundaries. Not even death can hold you Jesus. Let your love overflow our hearts and let our lives be worthy sacrifice. In Jesus name we pray. amen

I agree with you in prayer sister... Public school can be a real evil place where many lies are spread and so much demonic activity can be rampant, where so many people can usurp power over kids and oh how the worldliness and propaganda just can overtake a kid. America's public school system is really bad, and we need to pray for a change in the system, for the Lord to be first in school and not man.

Amen! But I personally fear that this is one area where prayer just won't be enough. I would urge Christians everywhere to become proactive in the education of their children so that the public school system becomes responsive once again to America's core values. (Did you know that in many schools, the kids AnandaHya spoke about would be in trouble just for praying?)
