"be still and know that i am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.' psalm 46:10 has been burning in my heart for a few years. I can sit there or stand there and tell you that verse but i just realized what God is telling me. I have to trust in him. I can't make gods of other things because they get me things faster or easier. I have to slow down and listen to God and do things at His pace. I cant say God can you do this and expect Him to do it right then and there or move on to another "god". I have to be still and patient. Also you have to know that if its not His will then He won't do it and you have to know that He is the ONE TRUE GOD. He loves and is patient and kind. God is never changing. He wants to give you what you want but you must realize what you want is not always best for you so He won't give it to you

I can't help but to think of what God has done in me with the first few words, for our quiet time with God is the renewing of our mind, for where the mind is the heart follows. During our quiet time, we are to take every thought captive, no matter how absurd it may seem, for to fully understand His light we have to fully understand the darkness that we have been placed in, for the purpose of darkness is to see His light, for out of the darkness His light will shine upon all men to come to the knowledge of the truth.
