My most recent testimony is the things that God has done to seemingly put a shelter of protection over me and my household and my spouse...

This past winter we have had horrible wind storms that was snapping dead trees all over the place that were killed by the previous Summer's drought in southeast Texas...One of which was a pine tree that had snapped and fell directly on top of the roof and was directly above where I was sitting on the computer...The tree had hit flat down and did minimal damage to the roof with just a mere 6" hole in the roof and broken shingles...Several other trees had fell within the vicinity of the house but never touched it...

The other instance is that I believe God had blessed us for being a shining light in the neighborhood...I have a 12 ft. tall cross that is lit up with LED lights that I hoist up into this large oak tree that we have in our front yard as part of my Christmas decorations...It can be seen for several blocks through the neighborhood and it is my symbol of putting CHRIST back into Christmas!...Amen!
One night one of these high windstorms hit around dusk and broke off a big branch that weighed about 500-600 lbs. It stayed half connected as it swung down and hit the cross directly before snapping and falling to the ground. It knocked the cross off kilter a bit but when I got home from work later that evening the cross was still standing there jittered but still shining brightly!...Even a tiny reminder monument to God he watched over!...He is a just and protecting God of his children!...

...I think God looks out for us more ways than we know!....What a blessing!.....EAD
